Interior of an apartment lobby & corridor

When i first saw the site, why they have made a long L-shape lobby corridor with barely any direct light source.the only light source was a 15' x 8' shaft which opens just in front of staircase.

Efforts to be made on how to create an interest in such a dull looking lobby...concept of false ceiling with a bright colour panel in centre planned with a straight, modern flooring pattern with combination of 2' x 2' vitrified tile with 'Copper silk' granite .

We finalised off white colour as base colour with an interesting & striking combination of orange in some parts of ceiling & a double ht wall along open well staircase to generate a lively environment in lobby area.
Designing of door is done keeping in mind the overall theme of lobby i.e Straight lines
There were no space planned for some sitting area for any visitor or resident in the lobby or corridor and the overall width of lobby were not sufficient enough to accommodate any type of sitting in between, a niche of around 18 feet created by shifting a partition wall with a distance of 2' towards recreational hall to crate space for sitting, letter boxes for residents and name plates panel with planter in such a manner that it should not look out of place with overall interior theme.
Work on site is still going on the final product will be in front of you friends very soon...i have developed the 3D image of the lobby..
